We have different options depending on the situation. We WILL NOT permanently ban or give a strike to someone unless there is a real issue. We will not allow anyone to be "ganged up on" with bad ratings if there is no evidence to support it. We will need to see the proof and judge for ourselves that there is a valid complaint. This survey is simply a way to gather group-wide opinions when we make our decisions as admins. Everything will be the same as before, it's just that this will cut down on the "How am I doing?" journals and polls and help us keep track of any OOC behavior or issues. If someone needs more than three months to try to act like the character they signed up for, then something must be wrong.

We are using the views of the group to help everyone progress as their character. We accepted you all for a reason and we are trying to prevent people from getting removed because they continually break the OOC rule. This should make everyone more aware of what their character is doing and give honest advice instead of the "great job" that most seem to give on the "How am I doing?" journals.

This is not an additional rule. It is only to help prevent people from breaking the OOC rule (I felt the need to repeat that since that is the main point behind this ). We have had to remove people for being OOC in the past but honestly, does it seem fair if we only take into account the admins' opinion about what is OOC? We feel this will make things more democratic and include YOUR opinions on what and who is OOC.

We won't ban someone for having a different opinion. That is childish and unfair. This isn't a job where everything has to be done a certain way. We by no means were trying to make it seem that way. We just hope that you try to understand how it must be to manage an active group with around 100 members. Each decision we make, we discuss and debate to make sure it is in the best for the group. There is no need to be scared of us. If any of you want to discuss this further, feel free to send us a group note, anytime.

Having trouble sending us your survey?

A few people have had trouble sending it in. If you are one of those people, paste your list into Sta.sh (icon near top of screen). Once you do that you can send us the link (Be sure NOT to save it to deviantart otherwise everyone will see it)

Each month we will send out a survey were we will ask our members to give us an idea of how well they think the other RPers are doing. These surveys will be used to monitor how well everyone is staying in character (and lets you be honest without hurting anyone’s feelings). We also encourage you to add any comments or suggestions that can improve their RP skills.

Based on the results, if someone needs a bit of guidance or is out of character a lot of the time, we will be able to provide appropriate feedback or take the necessary steps to improve the situation. Once the surveys are collected, we will send you your results and comments (which will be anonymous). If you receive low ratings 3 months in a row and do not show any regards to the comments, we will be forced to give you strikes, ask you to switch characters, or remove you from the group.

Please keep in mind that we won't ban someone over nothing. We will look into each situation as it arises. This is to keep the group Democratic and prevent the admins from banning someone just based on their opinion alone. We are not rating you against everyone else, this is only to help you monitor your progress as nobody is always perfect. This is NOT an extra rule, it is only to help us enforce the rule of being OOC.

If it is felt that someone is godmodding, being rude, OOC, or any other types of frustrating behavior, we will gather the comments and find an appropriate way to discuss these issues privately.
